Cactus Monday - Red Bird Cactus

A few weeks ago, my friend who lives across the street brought me home this lovely little succulent. 

It goes by several names, but my favorites are Red Bird Cactus or Red Slipper Spurge.  I think the scientific name is Pedilanthus tithymaloides, Red Bird is much more pleasant to say!!  It's supposed to bloom little red slipper or bird looking blooms in the summer time...wahoo!!  The depressed looking thing in the back is my Chandelier Plant, she was out of control and so I had to cut her back.  She'll look better come springtime.
