Wholly Guacamole

I found the coolest thing at Walmart Sunday afternoon that made the perfect companion to the beef faijitas planned for dinner tonight.  Since I'm not always pleased with the avocados I bring home, I generally pick up a package of Wholly Guacamole.  This time I was in for a treat.

Who'd ever think the 100 calorie packaging craze would make it to guacamole!  It's great for me though since I'm the only one in the house who eats it.  This stuff freezes great, so I kept out a package for tonight and tossed the rest in the freezer; no more wasting guacamole for me!

Daughter #2, who has quite a reputation for being a picky eater announced tonight that she's decided to at least try everything I made for dinner.  She thinks that she might actually find something new to like; imagine that!  I'm impressed...last night she tried red fish seasoned with the Weber Beer Can Chicken seasoning and broiled, and then tonight she ate half a beef faijita...we're making progress!

Have a great night!

  3. This is definitely something that I will look for. But you know that people in Alabama don't seem to like avocadoes as much as Texans. Thank the Lord that I am still a Texan from my head to my toes. My prayer lately has been, "Lord, don't You think that it is time for us to be back in Texas?" As of yet, I have not heard back.
